4th Annual Campout! Carolina: October 8th and 9th, 2010

Campout! Carolina is an annual statewide event encouraging friends, families, faith-based organizations, scout troops and community groups of all kinds to show support for North Carolina’s environment. Those who participate are encouraged to pitch a tent in their backyard or favorite North Carolina campsite, turn off or unplug non-essential electrical items, and enjoy an evening outdoors with family and friends.

All registered campers will be entered in a drawing for an REI tent & camping gear and Shakori Hills Music Festival tickets!

Last year, over 5,500 people from across the state participated in celebrating North Carolina's environment. With your help, we can beat that number and collectively demonstrate the importance of protecting and preserving our natural resources. Click on Be Counted to register now!
